Church news Posted: Thursday, January 20, 2011 2:46 pm The Messenger, January 20, 2011 New programs set Union City Second Baptist Church, located at 831 North Everett Blvd., will begin spring semester classes Wednesday through Christian Life University. Classes will meet 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays and the fee is $10, which is due at sign-up. Participants may sign up by going to josephbrasher@charter.net or by visiting the church office. Classes include a Bible study, “Worship Through the Tabernacle,” led by the Rev. Eddie Mallonee; a discipleship study, “The Habits of a Christian,” led by Kent Hendon; an evangelism study, “Share Jesus Without Fear,” led by Henry Inmon and Brasher; a marriage study, “Time Starved Marriage,” with Brad Boucher; a parenting class, “Single Parenting That Works,” led by Lorraine Gossett; a grief-share class led by the Rev. Jerry Leggett; and “Divorce Care,” led by Pam Murphy. Dildines to sing The Dildines will sing at Enon Baptist Church on Highway 79 South near McKenzie at 6 p.m. Jan. 30. Everyone is invited to the gospel singing. |
