MBA installs new officers, board

2011 is bringing exciting changes to the Martin Business Association as new Officers and a new Board takes over leadership of the group. Martin Mayor Randy Brundige installed the newly elected group at its January meeting.
The 2011 Board consists of (top, in random order) Tommy Legins, Roger Walker, Kris Moore, Carol Reed, Lee Pritchett, Gary Capers, Nan Rountree, Kimberly Craddock, Roger Donaldson, Alan Cary, Leslie Moore. Officers for the New Year are (inset, random order) Tommy Legins, President, Roger Walker, Vice-President, Carol Reed, Treasurer, Kris Moore, Secretary The goal of the Association for the upcoming year is to retain all members, make website functional for all members, educate members and attract new members.
The Martin Business Association held the first meeting of the year with outgoing President, Nan Rountree thanking the 2010 committee chairs and board for their service under her direction and also introduced the incoming board and officers
At their January meeting, Legins shared his plan for the upcoming year: 1) To retain all members currently enrolled 2) To get website functional 3) To give businesses the resources to operate more efficiently and effectively 4) To attract new members 5) To educate the Martin residents on the services and products offered in Martin so they will “Shop Martin First”.
