Completed arrangements are being announced for Mildred Maude (Myers) Brownlow, 94, of Union City, who died Jan. 16, 2011, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Tommy Hall and Tammy Hibb officiating. Burial will follow at Stanley’s Chapel Cemetery near Union City.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Charles Miller, Tully Moore, Jamie Moore, Randy Roney, Dale Collins, Mike Haynes, Ron Bates and George Frazier.
The family requests that memorials be made to Union City Assembly of God.
She was born June 17, 1916, in Isséc Creek, Va., daughter of the late Ralph Harold and Stella Lenora (Stutler) Myers. She married John F. Brownlow Feb. 8, 1947. He died Oct. 19, 1993. She and her husband had operated a large dairy farm near the Everett-Stewart Regional Airport. She was a member of Union City Assembly of God.
Survivors include her sister, Frances Jean Hostutler of Salem, W.Va.; two brothers, Delmer Ralph Myers and Seldy Harris Myers, both of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers.
