On Wednesday evening, Jan. 5, we sang, “To God Be the Glory.” Bro. Dewey filled in tonight for Bro. Kieth. After our prayer request, we had our regular monthly business meeting.

On this Lord’s Day, it was good to have Robert and Julie back during Sunday school time.

During the worship hour, Joe and Jackie led us in singing, “His Name is Wonderful.” We then sang, happy birthday to Hugh Brann and Pete Staples. Bro. Hugh is a young 80!

Following our song service, Pete filled in for Bro. Kieth. He brought a good message from Exodus 3:10-14; 4:1-12 and talked about our excuses that we give God for not serving Him as Moses did.

In the evening, we had a good song service. We were blessed to have three piano players. We were able to have “pick a song.” We have not done that in a while. Pete brought another good message from the book of Jonah, “The Power of the Word.” Like Moses, Jonah also made excuses for not serving God.

Next Sunday night we will have Game/Pizza Night at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Sunday night, Jan. 23, will be our quarterly singing. “Brotherly Love” will be here at 6 p.m.
