Completed arrangements are being announced for Eva Jo Henderson, 69, of South Fulton. She died 8:47 a.m. Jan. 12, 2011, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial following in Obion County Memorial Gardens. The Rev. H.B. Fields will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
She was born Nov. 17, 1941, in Fulton County, daughter of the late Horace and Elizabeth (Kelly) Reams. She married Howard C. Henderson June 6, 1959. He survives. She had lived in this area all her life and was an avid tennis player, golfer, flower gardener and breeder of Tennessee Walking Horses. She was a member of South Fulton United Methodist Church and had served on the Obion County Fair Board and had been inducted into the fair board Hall of Fame.
A homemaker, she had also been employed at the Fulton Leader Store.
Survivors also include her son, David Henderson of Memphis; her daughter, Beth Henderson of Memphis; her sister, Kelly Rice of Lewisburg, Ohio; and her brother, Charles Reams of South Fulton.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Reams and Harry Reams.
