Completed arrangements are being announced for Wanda June (Daniel) Laster, 54, of Union City, who died Jan. 12, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Berea Cemetery near Rives, with the Rev. Mickey Hanks officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at White-Ranson Funeral Home 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday.
She was born Oct. 5, 1956, in Perry County, daughter of the late James Ray and Margaret (Chandler) Daniel. She married James Ronald Laster Dec. 9, 1989. He died May 8, 2009. She had been a nursing home attendant in Clinton, Ky., and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church near Rives.
She is survived by two sons and her daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Candy Sanders of Union City and Brandon Sanders of Texas; five grandchildren, Paris Sanders, Greenlee Sanders, Bella-Rome Sanders, Bentley Sanders and Paisley Sanders, all of Union City; six sisters and four brothers-in-law, Teresa and David Hays of Camden, Cary and Guy Gray and Angela Daniel, all of Union City, Freda and Jeff Burpo of Hornbeak, Betty Watts of the Shawtown community and Deborah and Richard Hays of Ripley; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Dale Watts.
