Frances Nell “Polly” McNeill, 92, of Franklin, formerly of Union City, died at Claiborne Hughes Nursing Home in Franklin Jan. 11, 2011.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at East View Cemetery, with White-Ranson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time to go to the cemetery Friday.
Pallbearers will be Jere Baldridge, Ken McCool, Scott Perrine, Keith Feinstein, George McNeill, Mike McWherter, Bart White and Rodger Tanner.
The family requests that memorials be made to Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was born July 20, 1918, in Rives, daughter of the late H.L. “Jack” and Mary (Johnston) Clement. She married William A. McNeill Jan. 14, 1940. He died March 1972. She was an apartment resident manager for 22 years in Nashville and was a member of Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a life-member of the Greater Nashville Apartment Association.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor “Susie” and Glenn R. Miller of Omaha, Neb.; her son and daughter-in-law, William “Bill” and Charmaine McNeill of Brentwood; her sister, Louise “Tootie” Hagan of Elkmont, Ala.; three nieces, Mary Margaret Wait of Elkmont, Betty Perrine of Huntsville, Ala., and Ann Rogers of Lexington, Ky.; and three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
