Ladies, come start the New Year with the Ken Tenn Women’s Connection luncheon held on January 19, 2011 at 11 am at the Ole West Steakhouse at 943 Main Street, Martin, TN. We will be ringing in the New Year with the theme of, “A New You!”
Beverly Stott from Dresden will be sharing the art of paper folding as
our special feature this month. Her presentation is entitled, “Old Origami-New to You!” I’m sure many of us have wondered just how they can make those little animals out of a piece of paper!
Union City’s Dave Schla-ger will be entertaining our group with “Songs of the New Year.” You might hear an old favorite this month.
This month’s main speaker travels from Birmingham, Ala. Julie Morris has an interesting program that seems to focus on a lot of resolutions we all make for the New Year. Her words of wisdom are, “Good-bye Worry, Weight, and Shame-Hello Thinner, Not So Stressed Out, New You!” So, call a few friends and join us for good food, fellowship and fun!
The $10 price includes buffet, beverage and tip. Walk-ins are welcome or reservations can be made by the morning of Jan. 17.
