We are in our second week of the New Year already! Our residents enjoy their coffee break and gossip hour each morning along with mail pass and room visits daily.
Some residents gathered to play Wii Bowling. Our bowling league is still in full gear. Our crochet club also meets twice a week. They continue to work very hard on their projects. In the afternoon the residents gathered for manicures.
On Tuesday we celebrated our Residents Birthdays. Those celebrating a birthday this month are Alison Bowman, Helen Holley, Hugh Taylor and Lonnie Parrish. The staff and residents enjoyed carrot cake and punch.
Wednesday morning the residents enjoyed the Gaither Vocal Band Videos. Later in the afternoon we gathered for our devotion time and trivia. We had “slogan” trivia today and the residents were really on their toes with this one.
The residents were treated to chips and drinks following the program. Thursday the morning we gathered in the lobby to enjoy singing and devotion provided by Bro Tom Spelling. In the afternoon all the residents gathered in the lobby to sing-a-long with the Martingayles.
Friday morning the Wii Bowling League were back at it again! We are going to have to get some competition for them.
Our crochet ladies were hard at work on their projects. Everyone enjoyed coffee break.
In the evening the residents enjoyed the Gleason Church of Jesus Christ.
On Saturday the residents lined up at the beauty shop. Iricka Young was busy as ever trying to get everyone prettied up for the weekend.
