Helen Nadean Canestrini, 69, of Water Valley, Ky., died 6:23 p.m. Jan. 5, 2011, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services were 1 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with Paul Adams officiating. Burial followed in Water Valley Cemetery.
She was born July 2, 1941, in Russellville, Ark., daughter of the late Opal Lee and Minnie (Freeman) Jones. She was a homemaker who had lived in St. Charles, Ill., most of her life, with the last 16 years spent in Cottage Grove and Water Valley.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ball of Water Valley; three sisters, Norma Roach and Wanda Starr, both of St. Charles, and Linda Hardin of Nacogdoches, Texas; four brothers, Harold Jones and Jake Jones, both of St. Charles, James Jones of Carol Stream, Ill., and Paul Jones of Bolivar, Mo.; four grandchildren, Jennifer Ellegood of Fancy Farm, Ky., Heather Hillin and Neil Fowler, both of Water Valley, and Brandon Ball of Caledonia, Ohio; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Theda Busby and Estelle Huckabee.
