Robert “Little Robert” Mauldin Jr., 29, of Dyersburg died Jan. 4, 2011, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was the grandson of Wilburn Mauldin of Ridgely.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Finley Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, with Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Parkinson, Michael Joyner, Garon Perdue, Tommy Tidwell, Johnny Tidwell and Jesse Rush. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Weaver, Nathan Mascroft, Michael Screws and Victor Walton.
The family will receive friends at the church 5-8 p.m. today. They request that memorials be made to Finley Baptist Church.
He was a member of Finley Baptist Church.
He is also survived by his wife, Sarah (Fowlkes) Mauldin; his daughter, Elana Frances Mauldin of Dyersburg; his father and stepmother, Robert and Amy Mauldin of Dyersburg; his sister and brother-in-law, Amanda (Mauldin) and Chad Cooper of Dyersburg; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Todd Mauldin, Justin and Tiffany Daniels and Josh and Leigh Anne Daniels, all of Dyersburg; his grandparents, Odell and Lena Moody of Finley; his aunts and uncles, Emily and Butch Pritchett and Ann and Marty Moody, all of Dyersburg, and Jack Mauldin of Ridgely; his great aunt, Bonnie Perry of Dyersburg; and five nieces and nephews, Chad Cooper, Austin Ellington, Cameron Daniels, Chloe Daniels and Lili Daniels.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy (Watson) Mauldin; and his grandmother, Geneva Mauldin.
