Obion County and Gibson County Family and Consumer Science agents Benita Giffin (Obion) and Barbara Berry (Gibson) will present a six-session weekly program entitled “Living Well With Chronic Conditions” Feb. 3,10, 17 and 24 and March 3 and 10 at 1:30 p.m. The classes will be held at the Obion County Public Library conference room at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City. Each class will last about two hours and is free to anyone interested. 
“Living Well With Chronic Conditions” is a fun, skill-building program designed for those with chronic disease.
The program helps individuals take day-to-day responsibility for the care of their chronic condition. Participants gain skills necessary to self-manage their health condition and work effectively with their health care professionals.
Class size limit is 12. Pre-registration is required by Jan. 31. Call Mrs. Giffin at 885-3742 and leave a voice mail if calling after 5 p.m. weekdays.
