The bigger Lady Crusaders dominated the second half to pull away for a 47-29 victory. Liberty outscored the Lady Chargers 23-12 after halftime. Breanna Pitcher helped the Lady Chargers stay close with drives into the paint and four points in the first quarter. Liberty, on 3-pointers from Keiona Kirby and Dominique James, were ahead 11-7 after a quarter. WHS turnovers just before the second quarter ended helped Liberty carry a 24-17 lead into the break. Kirby, who finished with a game-high 21 points and was named tourney MVP, pumped in eight points in the third with big baskets inside and from outside. Kirby’s third-quarter tallies were enough to outscore the entire WHS roster, which managed just six points on baskets by Pitcher, Kaley Leyhue and Teddy Vincent to trail 41-23 heading into the fourth. In the fourth, each team scored six points. All the Westview points came from the free-throw line. 46th Annual Martin Lions Club Christmas Tournament None
