2011 Vol grid sked finalized

KNOXVILLE (AP) — Tennessee has confirmed its 2011 football schedule with a nonconference schedule that includes Montana, Cincinnati, Buffalo and Middle Tennessee.
The Volunteers will open the season Sept. 3 against Montana. They will host Cincinnati on Sept. 10, Buffalo on Oct. 1 and Middle Tennesse on Nov. 5.
It will be Tennessee’s first meeting with both Montana and Buffalo.
The Vols are 4-1 all-time against Cincinnati, with the last meeting a 40-0 Tennessee win in Knoxville in 1992, and beat the Blue Raiders 26-3 in 2002 in Knoxville in the only previous meeting with them.
Tennessee’s four Southeastern Conference home games come Oct. 8 against Georgia, Oct. 15 against LSU, Oct. 29 versus South Carolina and Nov. 19 against Vanderbilt. The Vols will travel to Florida on Sept. 17, Alabama on Oct. 22, Arkansas on Nov. 12 and Kentucky on Nov. 26.
