J.C. Coy, 80, of Fulton died Dec. 27, 2010, at 1:15 a.m. at his residence.
Services are set for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial is to follow at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
Friends may call Tuesday 5-8 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born April 12, 1930, son of the late William and Martha (Finley) Coy. He was married to Lilly Fay (Duncan) Coy. She survives. He had been a derrick engineer with Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.
He is also survived by his daughter, Charlotte (Coy) Capra of Union City; his son, Faron Thomas Coy of Fulton; five grandchildren, Michael Don Capra of Crestview, Fla., Timothy Jaye Capra of Nashville, Ann Marie (Coy) Hoffman and Tara Beth Coy, both of Fulton, and Cara Grace (Coy) Rotger of Martin; two great-grandchildren, Christian Rotger of Martin and Jeffrey Alexander Hoffman of Fulton; and his sister, Sadie Duncan of South Fulton.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Grace Coy; two brothers and two sisters.
