George R. “Bob” Watson, 75, of Fulton died Dec. 25, 2010, at 12:20 p.m. at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in  Murray, Ky.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with the Rev. Morris Shirley officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hop-kinsville, Ky., where military graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until the service hour Wednesday.
He was born Feb. 24, 1935, in Adair County, Ky., son of the late Gertie (Bault) and Owen P. Watson.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had served in Korea and Vietnam. He had been a service technician for General Electric in Louisville, Ky., for 14 years and lived in Hazel, Ky., from 2001-08 before moving to Fulton.
He is survived by his wife, Carla (Bates) Watson of Fulton; a stepson, James Lee Johnson of Murray; a stepdaughter, Nancy C. Nottingham of Clarkson, Ky.; two stepgrandchildren, Tyler Nottingham and Lori Nottingham, both of Clarkson; and two sisters, Edna Cooley and Lois Curl, both of Louisville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
