DSCC holds student recitals
DSCC holds student recitals Posted: Friday, December 24, 2010 12:02 am The Press 12/23 On Tuesday, Nov. 30, Dyersburg State Community College featured the talents of the students taking Private Applied Music courses with a recital held at the First Baptist Church in Dyersburg. In addition to the 13 music students who participated in the recital, Greg Moberg of Dyersburg performed his graduation recital pieces on guitar. Students taking part in the recital included: Holly Arwood of Ripley, piano and clarinet Mark Brown II of Dyersburg, baritone Hannah Evans of Newbern, soprano Shelby Fultz of Dyersburg, piano Greg Moberg of Dyersburg, snare drum Weston Petty of Dyersburg, guitar Zach Rea of Martin, tenor and piano Ashton Rickman of Union City, piano Eddie Russell of Dyersburg, tenor Katie Sykes of Dyersburg, soprano Ashleigh VanCleave of Ridgely, mezzo-soprano Dennis Wallace of Martin, piano and cornet Jerrold Webb of Dyersburg, bass John South Wilson of Dyersburg, piano DSCC’s Jazz Choir Syncopation also performed selections from the musical Mary Poppins.
