A Martin man is facing 14 counts of identity theft and a charge of aggravated burglary after he allegedly swiped an ATM debit card from his victim.
Cedric Allen, 21, of Martin was arrested last week by the Martin Police Department after the victim discovered Allen had made 11 cash withdrawals using the victim’s ATM card. According to information released by the local police department, Allen also reportedly made two online purchases and a purchase at a local convenience store using the stolen ATM card.
The total amount of unauthorized transactions was $524.43. Allen reportedly admitted to gaining entry into the victim’s home without permission to retrieve the ATM card. He is held without bond.
