Bascom Cunningham Posted: Monday, December 13, 2010 2:27 pm The Messenger, December 13, 2010 Neal Bascom Cunning-ham, 86, of Troy died Dec. 12, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services were set for 2 p.m. today at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Ron Newberry officiating. Burial was to follow in Ebenezer Cemetery near Troy. Pallbearers were to be John Petty, Buddy Bright, Steve Muse, Gene Clark, Jimmy Smith and Dr. Chris Gooch. The family requests that memorials be made to Troy Church of Christ, P.O. Box 216, Troy, TN 32860. He was born Aug. 14, 1924, in Obion County, son of the late Fred and Mildred (Pitts) Cunningham. He married the former Hazel Marie Williams Dec. 20, 1946. She survives. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Troy Church of Christ and Troy Western Sun Masonic Lodge. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ronnie Conner of Troy; his grandson and his wife, Keith and Laura Conner of Troy; four sisters, Larhue Petty, JoAnne Dial and Teeny King, all of Troy, and Louise LeCroy of Benton, Ark.; two brothers, Freddie Cunningham and Jerry Cunningham, both of Troy; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Kevin Neal Conner; his sister, Kathleen King; and his brother, Ralph Brown Cunningham.
