Miss Donnell to wed Dalton on Saturday

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Erin Nicole Donnell of Obion and Thadeus Cameron “Tad” Dalton of Troy are being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Lisa Donnell of Obion. Her grandparents are the late Halbert Thomas of Troy, Jewell King of Union City and Charles and Betty Jean Donnell of Obion. She is a 2009 graduate of Obion County Central High School. She is attending the University of Tennessee at Martin and taking online classes through Dyersburg State Community College. She is employed at Pumpkin Patch Daycare in Union City as an assistant teacher. The groom-elect is the son of Frank Dalton of Troy and Susie Wise of Martin. He is the stepson of Wendy Dalton of Troy and Ron Wise of Martin. His grandparents are the late Frank Dalton Sr. and the late Shirley Dalton of South Fulton and Jerry and Dolly Morris of Latham. He attended OCCHS and graduated from the GED program in 2008. He is a combat engineer in the active duty Army and is stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky., where he is in the 511th Engineer Company of the 326th Engineer Battalion. The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Saturday at Troy First Baptist Church. Music will begin at 1:30. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the church building. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
