Boys & Girls Club members honored

HONORED — Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee-Union City members who had earned A’s and B’s on their report cards in the first grading period of the year at Union City Elementary School were honored recently by Junior Auxiliary of Obion County. Members of the auxiliary provided special certificates noting the students’ academic accomplishments and hosted a celebratory party as well. Those in attendance included students Jeffery Donnell, Breann Meetze, Bryanna Williams, Kyndall Davis, Sanaa Davis, Gavin Allen, Shania Woods, Mariah Johnson, Treasury Willis and Fidelyia McKinney; Boys & Girls Club staff member Quae Macklin; JAs Shea Andrews and Jennifer Hutchison; students Tyler Yanders, Kristian Fields, DeCora Alexander and Jalyn Coble; JA Brittany Kendall; Boys & Girls Club staff member Antawn Coby; JA Holly Turner; Boys & Girls Club staff member Fred Taylor; JA’s Christina Grimm, Jessica Matherly, Missy Emrich, Ashley Phillips and Michele Huffstutter; and Boys & Girls Club staff member Courtney Bass.
