Jo Ann Howard Robison

Memorial services will be held for Jo Ann Howard Robison, 77, at Rose-Neath Chapel located at 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, La. on Saturday, Oct, 9, 2010 at 4 p.m. The family will be receiving visitorsat 2 p.m.
Jo Ann Howard Robison was born in Martin on June 29, 1933 to Mildred and Hubert Howard. During her twenties, Jo Ann received her HAMM radio operator’s license while living in Puerto Rico and later, while living in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., was an avid golfer and won several amateur tournaments held on Eglin AFB. Jo Ann volunteered her time with two young girls in tow to work with the Girl Scouts of America in Oak Grove, La. She was a devoted mother and wife; never missing an event where her children or grandchildren were involved. She graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe with a B.S. in Nursing. Jo Ann finished her career in nursing at the VA Medical Center where she worked on 6th East for 12 years. She retired in 2001 with her husband to their home on Lake Bistineau.
Jo Ann is preceded in death by her par- ents, Mildred and Hubert Howard, and her siblings, Lewis Howard, Doris Hoff, J.C. Howard, Billy Howard and Betty Sue
She is survived by her husband, Frank P. Robison, Jr.; daughters, Tina Robison Kingston and Sandy Robison Trieschmann; and grandchildren, Erin Michelle
and Matthew Bass.
