Thomas Lee Moore, 64, of Obion died Oct. 7, 2010, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Terry English officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Hooper. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Orr, Jimmy Stockdale, Terry Cranford, Charles Harris, Ben Cunningham, Mike Hogg and Tommy Griffin. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo McEwen, Bill Koupa, Barbara Henson, Mike Holloway and Jimmy Whitby.
The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
He was born Feb. 2, 1946, in Obion County, son of the late Hubert and Laura (Gray) Moore. He married the former Frieda Ann Petty March 27, 1970. She survives. He had been employed at the former Carter-Click Machine Shop in Dyersburg for 25 years and was also employed at Northwest Corrections for 18 years. He attended Obion Chapel United Methodist Church and was a member of Hornbeak Woodmen of the World.
He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Donna Moore of Dyersburg and David and Anita Moore of Union City; two grandchildren, Eric Moore and Emily Moore, both of Union City; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leonard and Betty Moore of Hornbeak and Ralph and Margaret Moore of Troy.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Price; and his brother, Raymond Moore.
