The Messenger has learned of the death of Matt Spraggs, 53, of Prestonsburg, Ky., a former resident of Fulton, who died Sept. 27, 2010, at Highland Regional Medical Facility in Prestonsburg.
A private family service is planned at a later date, with visitation to precede the service.
The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
He was born Sept. 22, 1957, son of the late Tom and Peggy Spraggs of Fulton. He had made his home in Prestonsburg for the past 12 years.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Kammie Spraggs of Ripley; his niece, Kristen Spraggs of Ripley; his aunt and uncle, Sally and Barry Bondurant of South Fulton; and his cousins, Angela and Brian Eaves, Maeghan Eaves and SaraLynn Eaves, all of South Fulton, and Skipper and Ginger Bondurant and Carter and Shelby Bondurant, all of Brighton.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Margaret Hall of Fulton and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Spraggs of Clinton, Ky.
