Completed arrangements are being announced for Dorothy M. Cox, 89, of Waterloo, Ill., a former resident of South Fulton, who died 3:15 a.m. Oct. 6, 2010, in Waterloo at Oak Hill Nursing Home.
Services were set for 2 p.m. today at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with Miles Mayo officiating. Burial was to follow there in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to Smith Street Church of Christ, 411 Smith St., South Fulton, TN 38257.
She was born Feb. 5, 1921, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Charles and Jessie (Reeves) Adams Callison. She was the widow of Wade Hampton Cox and was a member of Smith Street Church of Christ. She had been a seamstress for the former Henry I. Siegel Clothing Co. and an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She had served that organization as president.
Survivors include four sisters, Mable (Adams) Badalamenti of Lamont, Ill., Dora (Callison) Badger of Tiptonville, Rose (Callison) Worthy of Union City and Martha (Callison) Hardy of St. Louis; and two brothers, J.C. Adams of Trimble and Floyd Callison of Fulton.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harry Callison.
