James “Bubba” Holloway, 80, of Tiptonville, a former resident of Hickman, Ky., died Oct. 6, 2010, at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Home in Tiptonville.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at Hickman City Cemetery, with Strong Funeral Home in Hickman in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation.
He was a retired farmer and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his son, Arthur Robinson of Steele, Mo.; four daughters, Dorothy McWherter of Janesville, Wisc., Helen McCurrie of Jackson and Brenda Davis and Sherry Chrisp, both of Martin; and 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rainey Holloway; and his brother, L.J. Johnson.
