| | South Fulton junior Chase Mayfield was third with a 1-under-par and score of 71 after the first day of competition at the Class A-AA State Golf Tournament. Mayfield teed off this morning at 10:30 in the second and final round at Manchester’s WillowBrook Golf Club. Union City sophomore Mollie Stone, making her first appearance a the state links finale, was 28th after Day 1. She teed off this morning at 9:30.
