Piano, vocal concert set Posted: Wednesday, October 6, 2010 2:03 pm The Messenger 10.06.10 The University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Music will present a concert of piano and vocal works by Robert Schumann at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Martin. Dr. Robert Spillman, professor emeritus, chair of the piano faculty and music director of the opera program at the University of Colorado at Boulder; Stanley Warren, tenor, professor of voice and coordinator of vocal studies at Union University; and Dr. Amy Yeung, soprano, associate professor of voice at UT Martin, will perform in the concert. The program includes Phantasie in C Major (opus 17), Dichterliebe (opus 48) and Four Duets (opus 78). This event is free and open to the public. , , |
