A Martin man was arrested Tuesday night on various drug-related charges in an effort involving the 27th Judicial District Drug Task Force’s Criminal Interdiction Unit, along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Martin Police Department and Obion County Sheriff’s Department.
Martin police reported 32-year-old Dion Harrison of Martin was stopped by the drug task force for a routine traffic violation Tuesday evening on Highway 51 in Obion County. His vehicle was searched and officers allegedly found about three pounds of marijuana.
Officers then obtained a search warrant for Harrison’s home at 231 Meadowbrook Drive in Martin. There, they allegedly found various amounts of pills, a small amount of marijuana and an undisclosed amount of cash, with various amounts of property seized, according to a Martin Police Department press release.
Harrison is being held in the Obion County Law Enforcement Complex pending a court appearance.
