Miss Gleason, Hardy to wed in Franklin

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Lauren Elizabeth Gleason and David Clayton “Clay” Hardy, both of South Fulton, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Greg and Debbie Gleason of Franklin. Her grandparents are Ron and Faith Galbraith of Nashville, Jim and Carole Gray of Novato, Calif., Bill and Joyce Gleason of Crossville and Shirley Gleason of Pegram.
She is a 2004 graduate of Centennial High School in Franklin. She earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing, graduating cum laude in 2008 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. While at UTM, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
She is employed as a registered nurse in the medical surgical unit at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
The groom-elect is the son of David and Gail Hardy of Fulton. His grandparents are Ruth Crabtree and the late Wilburn Crabtree of South Fulton and Joyce Hardy and the late Sam Hardy of Fulton.
He is a 2001 graduate of South Fulton High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from UTM in 2008.
He is employed as a registered nurse in the medical surgical unit at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
The couple will wed at 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church in Franklin.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the Factory in Franklin.
All friends and family are invited to attend.
