Collecting coats Posted: Tuesday, October 5, 2010 2:55 pm The Messenger, October 5, 2010 Junior Auxiliary of Obion County is beginning its annual “Coats for Kids” collection efforts. Gently worn coats for children and youth will be accepted at Kizer Pharmacy on the corner of Bishop Street and Miles Avenue South in Union City or at Town and Country Cleaners on South Ury Street in Union City. Town and Country will be providing free cleaning for the coats before they are given to children and youth in need. The effort begins today and will continue through Nov. 2. “Junior Auxiliary appreciates the wonderful support this effort enjoys each year and is pleased to be part of such a worthwhile project,” a spokesman said. |
