First State Bank recently added Brian Kissell as a commercial loan officer at the Union City office, located at 100 East Reelfoot Ave.
First State offers consumer finance, mortgage, insurance, investment and banking services through the local office.
A graduate of Obion County Central High School, Kissell graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor of science degree in business administration in May 2008.
He has worked for First State and First Citizens National Bank as a credit analyist.
He has a strong desire to become active in community events such as CornFest and Hometown Walk of Hope, as well as the Chamber of Commerce, Industrial Development Corp. and Rotary Club.
He is married to Brittany Kissell and they live in Troy. They are active members of Troy First Baptist Church.
“I am extremely pleased with Brian’s decision to become a part of the First State Bank team. He has a wealth of knowledge in commercial credit and has an important understanding of the Obion County market. His background in credit analysis creates a good understanding of credit structure and will benefit our customers,” said Andy Page, regional president of First State Bank in Union City.
“I am excited about the opportunity to work for First State as a loan officer and serve the community of Obion County. I look forward to building relationships with existing and potential customers. I believe my position provides me with a unique opportunity to help this community grow,” Kissell said. “First State understands the importance of customer service and has a desire to display this throughout their branches and within the community.”
