MFD Lt. addresses local sorority

FIREMAN SPEAKS — The Omicron Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa met Thursday, Sept. 16 for a picnic at the Virginia Weldon Park in Martin. Fireman and Education Director Jamie Summers spoke to the professional teacher’s organization about the uses of defibrillators and the many services of the fire department. They appreciated Summers for his efforts to educate them on the life-saving device. The group donated money to St. Jude this month. Plans were made to attend the West Tennessee Founders’ Day event in Memphis on Oct. 16
