James Robert Ballew, 31, of Nashville, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 at Nashville General Hospital.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Valley Cemetery, Gleason with Hurbert Reed officiating. Williams Funeral Home of Gleason was in charge of the arrangements.
Ballew was born July 5, 1979 in Nashville, son of Robert and Debora Demonbreun Ballew of Gleason. He was a laborer.
Survivors also include his girlfriend, Anlaesha Lampkins of Nashville; one son, Cortez Robert Ballew of Nashville; one stepson, Quadrous Ballew of Nashville; one daughter, Alonda Ballew of Nashville; and one sister, April Shell of Gleason.
