The WHO (Women Helping Others) Foundation will benefit when Elvis impersonator Shelby Daniel of Newbern appears at the Obion County Public Library Tuesday evening.
Daniel will be the entertainment when BeautiControl consultants meet at 6:30 p.m. to learn about news about anti-aging products, makeup and new literature.
Donations made during the meeting will go toward WHO projects.
WHO, established in 1993, is committed to encouraging women everywhere to help others through community service; supporting organizations dedicated to the needs of women, children and families in crisis.
Since its inception, the WHO Foundation has granted more than $3.8 million to other non-profit organizations supporting such issues as teen pregnancy, rape, education, homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse and domestic violence. Anyone is welcome to attend and give to this worthy cause, a spokesman said.
