Arts winners announced

LOCAL TALENTS – Winners of the Soybean Festival’s Art Show proudly displayed their works of art at The Arts Co-op last week where they picked up their prizes and certificates. First place winner was Ron Peckham of Martin (left) with his charcoal still life, “Fancy Picnic.” Second place winner was Naomi Ballard of Sharon with her charcoal portrait of her son “Cruiser.” Presenting the awards were UT Martin’s Visual Arts Society President Cody Rainey and Arts Co-op gallery coordinator David MacBeth. Third place winner was Craig Wade of Nashville (not pictured) with his painting “Old Home.”
