Central soccer girls
bounce back well

Obion Central bounced back.
The Lady Rebel soccer team, coming off just its second defeat of the current campaign earlier this week at Westview, blanked Jackson North Side 5-0 on Thursday.
Madi Bell scored two goals for OC, while Brooke Jennings and Hope Montgomery both accounted for one score.
Lady Rebel goalie Taylor Baker had her third shutout of the season with four saves.
The Lady Rebels return to action on Monday at South Fulton.

Wynridge winners
finish at 8-under

The team of J.D. Stephens, Ike Peel, Danny Carpenter and Haskins Ridens combined to shoot an 8-under-par and win the weekly men’s scramble at Wynridge Greens in Troy Thursday.
Meanwhile, the team of Steve Williams, Patrick Williams, John Young and Jonathan Bell tied with the combination of Bryan Barker, David Puckett, Glen Hale, Frank Canale and Terry Wiseman for second place at 6-under
Wynridge Greens holds its weekly men’s scramble every Thursday.

Hickman gal victors
have comfy cushion

The team of Wanda Brown, Janis Garrigan, Dino Nerren and Evelyn Whitten finished in first place with a score of 5-under-par to win the Hickman Country Club’s Ladies League outing on Thursday.   
Meanwhile, the combination of Carol Potts, Liz Roberts and Cathy Hall earned second with a 2-under.
Kathy Barker was the closest to the pin.
