Mrs. G.T. Hall graciously opened her beautiful home to the members of The Martin Fine Arts Club for their first meeting of the 2010-2011 club year.
Hostesses assisting Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, were Mrs. Bob Cheeseman and Mrs. Sanford Truitt.
Twenty-one members and one guest enjoyed fresh apple cake with caramel icing, toasted pecans and coffee.
President Mrs. Bob Peeler led the members in reciting the collect and opened the business meeting. She thanked the yearbook committee for their hard work and for the lovely colorful print on the book’s cover.
April minutes were read by Nancy Hinds and approved. Club dues were collected by Mrs. John Wall, club treasurer.
