Obion County Central High School students are inviting the community to join them at the flag pole in front of the school at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday for the annual See You at the Pole prayer observance.
Sponsored by the school’s Christian Students Association, the program’s theme will be “Reveal,” with scripture emphasized from Matthew 6:9-13. OCCHS ag teacher Nick Lucas will be the guest speaker and officers of the CSA will read scripture and lead in prayer.
The global day of student prayer will also include special music by students Brooke Huggins and Hope Montgomery, plus an appearance by Singing Hands from Calvary Baptist Church in Union City. There will also be a drama presentation and vocal music students at the school will lead the singing of the national anthem. Boy Scouts will serve as the color guard for the occasion.
