The 16th annual Runway for a Cure fashion show and silent auction parades down the “pink carpet” at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson Oct. 5.
The event honors those fighting cancer and remembers loved ones lost to this disease. Tickets are $15 in the balcony, $45 on the floor or $360 for a group of eight at a table or row. Hors d’oeuvres and wine are included with floor, table and row seating.
Beginning at 6 p.m., guests can enjoy entertainment and a silent auction. The Design for a Cure competition takes the stage at 7:15 and the Runway for a Cure show starts at 7:45.
Student designers between the ages of 15-23 were encouraged earlier this summer to design and construct evening dresses for the competition.
