Kiwanis plans barbecue lunch

The annual Kiwanis “We deliver” barbecue lunch is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 24. If you would like to have a lunch delivered directly to you, place your order with any member of the Martin Kiwanis Club (see http://www.utm.edu/organizations/kiwanis/members.html for a list of members). Please place your order no later than Wednesday, Sept. 22, so that we may plan accordingly. The lunch is only $6 and includes a pulled pork sandwich, barbecue sauce, potato chips, cole slaw and a dessert. The lunches will be delivered beginning at 11 a.m. All proceeds go to benefit youth oriented projects in the local community, such as boy and girl Scouts, youth baseball, softball,  leadership clubs in the public schools, AEDs in the local schools, the Ernie Blythe Aktion Club for adults with disabilities, the Reading Railroad and many, many others. Please enjoy a good lunch and, at the same time, help our community to be a better place to live.
