The September term of the Weakley County Grand Jury handed down 30 indictments and four true bills when it met at the beginning of the month. Among those indicted were four people from Dresden who are accused of setting fire to home to collect insurance. Those indicted by the September grand jury include: • Albert Lee Aslinger – Arson • Sandra Kay Aslinger – Arson • Michael Brian Durham – Arson • Julie Marie Durham – Arson • James William Bruce, Jr. – Coercion of witness and assault • Karen Ann Carmichael – Aggravated burglary X 6, theft and simple possession • Johnny Ray Easley – Domestic assault, possession of firearm where alcohol is sold and felon in possession of a weapon • Oscar M. Garcia – Criminal trespass, theft X 2, burglary and domestic assault • Keith Richard Gibson – Possession of controlled substance with intent, simple possession X 2 and drug paraphernalia X 2. • Naqualon Montra Gibson – Possession of controlled substance with intent, evading arrest, reckless driving, stop sign violation X 3, removal of plate and aggravated burglary • Sherita Denise Bledsoe – Simple possession X 2 and drug paraphernalia X 2 • Jacob Ross Ewing Hall – Statutory rape • Bryant Herron – Possession of controlled substance with intent and drug paraphernalia • Marquale Byron Houston a.k.a Brian Deaton Houston – Aggravated burglary, theft and vandalism • Jeffery D. McDaniel – Possession of controlled substance with intent and drug paraphernalia X 6 • David J. McDonald – Aggravated assault X 4 and reckless endangerment • Justin Lee Owens – Aggravated burglary and theft • Shantell Denise Parnell – Reckless endangerment X 5 • Matthew C. Pinson – Statutory rape X 2 • Tammy Lou Readenour – Initiation of process, promotion of meth manufacture, unlawful drug paraphernalia and simple possession • Michael Thomas Lynch – Initiation of process, promotion of meth manufacture, unlawful drug paraphernalia and simple possession • Jessica Spring Lynch – Initiation of process, promotion of meth manufacture, unlawful drug paraphernalia and simple possession X 2 • Casey Travis Dudek – Initiation of process, promotion of meth manufacture, unlawful drug paraphernalia and simple possession • Dennis Wayne Cunningham – Initiation of process, promotion of meth manufacture, unlawful drug paraphernalia and simple possession • William Dalton Smyth – Vehicular assault, DUI and failure to provide insurance • Tony Lee Wade – Promotion meth manufacture • Phillip Lee Williams – Possession of controlled substance with intent and drug paraphernalia • Justin Woodard – Burglary X 2 and theft X 2. Those indicted by the grand jury on felony charges are expected to appear before 27th Judicial District Circuit Court Judge William Acree in Weakley County throughout this month for arraignments.
