Burglary reported Posted: Friday, September 17, 2010 11:52 am The Messenger, September 17, 2010 Police are investigating a recent break-in at a car wash on North First Street in Union City. The owner of E.Z. Clean at 220 North First St. told police Thursday that someone had broken the south window of the business sometime Sept. 10, but she did not report the incident because she did not think anyone could get into the building through the small window, according to a Union City Police Department report. The owner told police she checked Thursday and discovered someone had entered the building. They apparently attempted to steal a coin changer and removed some tools from a tool box. Metal bars have since been installed on the business’ windows to prevent future incidents, according to the report. |
