Completed arrangements are being announced for the Rev. Deborah Anise Gilmore, 52, of Martin, who died Sept. 13, 2010, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services will be Saturday at noon at Anointed Church of the Living God in Union City, with Bishop Barbara Bolden officiating. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at George Washington Carver Memorial Gardens in Birmingham, Ala.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Rawls Funeral Home in Union City is in charge of arrangements.
She was born July 19, 1958, in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of Frances (McMullin) and Archie Joyner Sr. of Faison, N.C. She was the widow of Garry Gilmore, who died Jan. 19, 2008. A graduate of Prospect Heights High School in New York, she was the pastor of Anointed Church of the Living God in Jackson and was employed at MTD in Martin.
Survivors include two sons and her daughter-in-law, Garry Jamel Gilmore of New York City and Roderick Lelcesona, serving in Iraq, and his wife Ana Lelcesona; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Glenda and Gary Ephraim of Birmingham, Tanny and Walter Bivens of Queens, N.Y., and Daphanne Lelcesona of Martin; two brothers and her sister-in-law, Archie Joyner Jr. of New York City and Allen and Karen Reynolds of Charlotte, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
