Railroad Museum presents program Posted: Wednesday, September 15, 2010 4:13 pm “The Illinois Central Railroad Remembered” is the title of a program to be presented at the Twin Cities Railroad Museum in South Fulton, on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 2 p.m. The program will present photographs of the Illinois Central Railroad taken throughout western Tennessee and Kentucky from the 1950s to the early 1970s. Numerous photographs of steam locomotives in action will be included, along with photographs of famed passenger trains such as the “City of New Orleans” and “Panama Limited”. The program will be presented by local author Cliff Downey, who has published six books, including four on the Illinois Central Railroad.
