Miss Johnson to wed Eddington Sept. 25

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Alexandria Marie “Alex” Johnson of Troy and Todd Mitchell Eddington of Hickman, Ky., are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jackie Dial of Gilbertsville, Ky., and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Johnson of Union City. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Holly of Troy, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson of Union City and Mr. and Mrs. David Poole of Kentucky.
She is a 2008 graduate of Obion County Central High School. She plans to graduate with an associate’s degree in education this fall from Dyersburg State Community College.
She is employed by First Friends Preschool in Union City as an infant educational assistant.
The groom-elect is the son of Toby Johnson of Fulton and Mr. and Mrs. Todd Eddington of Hickman. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miller, Hugh Eddington and Mr. and Mrs. Buck Kennedy, all of Hickman, and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Jackson of Water Valley, Ky.
He is a 2007 graduate of Fulton County High School. He is attending DSCC, where he is pursuing a degree in criminal justice.
He is employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City in the quality control department.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. Sept. 25 at Second Baptist Church in Union City.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at Celebration Centré in Union City.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
