Rebecca (Cole) Gray, 81, of Troy died Sept. 11, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Graveside services were set for 4 p.m. today at Gardner Cemetery near Martin, with Bobby Stewart officiating. White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were to be Davis Wiseman, Mike Wiseman, Mark McCullough, Al McCullough, Billy Jackson and Gerald Storey.
The family requests that memorials be made to Main Street Church of Christ in Troy.
She was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Union City, daughter of the late Wylie Lee and Jewel (Roberson) Cole. She married Kenneth Gray Aug. 27, 1948. He died July 5, 1989.
She was a former bookkeeper for Storey Sawmill and Lumber Co. in Troy. She was also a member of Troy’s Main Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons and her daughter-in-law, Kent C. Gray of Troy and Stewart L. and Dottie Gray of Bartlett; three grandchildren, J.D. Gray, Joy Hernandez and Hope Gray, all of Bartlett; three sisters, Mary Wiseman of Hernando, Miss., Hilda Vickers of Fairview, Ala., and Jean McCullough of Troy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Ward, Georgia Pepper and Wilma Willis.
