Jennifer Joan McDaniel, 40, of Union City died Sept. 10, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Pat Murdock and Larry Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery near Union City. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Keith Ransom, Kevin Ransom, Donavan Ransom, Jason Jeffries, Richie Higgins, Scottie Craddock, Dr. Steve Beachum and Teddy Vandeveer. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Pugh, Clay McDaniel, Josh Mathenia, Mike Mathenia and members of Obion County Rescue Squad.
The family requests that memorials be made to Epilepsy Foundation of America, 8301 Professional Place, Landover, MD., 20785-7223.
She was born July 14, 1970, in Obion County, daughter of Michael C. and Beverly Jane (Ransom) McDaniel of Union City. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and Community Developmental Services in Martin.
She is also survived by her sister, Leslie Jeffries of Union City; her brother and sister-in-law, Shane and Vicki McDaniel of Union City; several uncles and aunts, James and Sylvia Williams, Larry and Sharon Ransom, Joan Williams, Bobby and Nadine Ransom, Frances Ransom and Kay Mays, all of Union City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.B. and Stella Ransom and Harold and Molene McDaniel, and several aunts and uncles.
