City of Greenfield to see housing rehabs

City of Greenfield to see housing rehabs
The City of Greenfield has been awarded more than $350,000 through the Tennessee Housing Development Agency and it is passing along that money to city residents.
Through Sept. 9, eligible Greenfield homeowners in need of housing repairs can apply through Greenfield City Hall to obtain a portion of the THDA funding to spruce up their properties.
Eligibility is based on several factors, including income, size of family, the elderly, disabled, single parents as head of household or veterans.
A representative will then evaluate the piece of property from the roof to the heating and cooling systems.
To find out more information or to obtain an application, contact the Greenfield City Hall at 235-2330.
City hall is located at 222 North Front Street in Greenfield. This effort is a partnership between the city and Nelson Thornton, PC (community planners) of Jackson.
