Open house planned

There will be an open house at the new Obion Fire and Police Department Safety Building on Palestine Avenue 1-3 p.m. Saturday. The facility was funded through a USDA grant and loan program and features a 7,200-square-foot building with a three-bay engine room, offices, training rooms and rest rooms for the fire department and space for the police department, as well.
The public is invited to attend.
